What are your favorite Christmas smells? The ones that just make you sink back into a haze of pleasant memories....the ones that make your senses twirl and infuse your mind and heart with joy and thought?

I am many.

Cinnamon and pine...I love the smell of a pine tree..though I don't ever get a real tree anymore. And the smell of a morning of freshly fallen snow....

Gingerbread, pine, cloves, cinnamon, peppermint candy canes, the smell of baking cookies. Fresh crisp air after a snowfall.

How can you save me?
When the dark comes right in and takes me,
from my front walk and into bed,
where it kisses my face and eats my head. Shivaree

I'm putting in my husband's here. He loves the smell of the air where it is snowing.

Thanfully, he's the one who has lived in all the places with snow, and not me!

Ummm...for me...hmmmm.....
Hazlenut

The smell of a bag of pecans waiting to be shelled.
