... hazelnut coffee, in the first hour after I wake up in the morning.

Or, with a vanilla milkshake late at night ...

What is your "poetry side?"  What do you eat, drink, or otherwise indulge in while you read poetry -- at Passions or elsewhere?

Linda

often my dinner, I am quite unsociable at times. A supply of diet 7up and sometimes lowfat yoghurts. I am not on a diet I swear.

Nan:  A woman after my own heart ... although the juices would get too sweet for me after a time ...

Temptress:  In other words, "chocolate and more chocolate, with a wee side of chocolate?"  You sound like Kamla ...

Chris:  Duh, yourself.  You drink Mountian Dew with everything ...

Sharon:  I am terrible with finger foods ... I'd go through 3 bags of pretzels a night if I kept them by the computer!

Poeminister:  See above; I wish I had your and Sharon's willpower ...

serenity:  I can only imagine ...

brian:  You mean some people eat their dinner someplace else beside in front of the computer...?  What a concept ...

I am sooo glad I'm not alone here...but, I must say that my favorite thing to eat during my visits to Passions is Stuckey's Pecan Log roll thingies...I've got one of those huge ones that has to last because there aren't any Stuckey's around here...but, yeah...I got away from my point for a minute, but that's my poetry side dish...and, a glass of iced tea when it gets too sweet and I need something to wash it down with, of course...

it was love that first drew me,
it is love that will keep me here...
now I see love burning brightly
when everything else is unclear...

HEY!
Now how am I gonna look original??? How on earth can I say 'chocolate' now??? Without looking like I am conforming, playing up to what is expected of me! OMG - this is worse than a bad hair day!

Fine then ~snif~ let's see, maybe...

Celery sticks, dipped in middle eastern yogurt sauce.

Nah - too messy for the keyboard.

Ummmmm...Stripes...they are biscuits (Cookies) which have stripes of cho...oh. Damn.

Er...tap tap...um.

OH damn it. POETRY GOES WELL WITH CHOCOLATE OK! And Lemonade. And a certain form of melancholia.

You ruined the surprise Linda, I shall never forgive you!

Black coffee in the morning, sometimes even have my ginger granola here in the AM also.
Most of the time, no other food. Occasional nite time coffee with Kahlua

Doreen, now THAT sounds nice!

Me?  I don't indulge myself in anything when I write or read.  Poetry is poetry, good or bad, no matter where I am while I am reading/writing.

Hot tea. Usually Chamomile...

I have a white porcelain tea set (one mug, one kettle) on my desk, my tea basket --which is enormous -- sitting on my speakers ...

Oh, Micheal... echo echo echo ...

(I like my poetry with YOU too, hehe)
