According to the Knight-Ridder News Service, the inscription on the metal bands used by the U.S. Department of the Interior to tag migratory birds has been changed. The bands used to bear the address of the Washington Biological Survey, abbreviated:

WASH. BIOL. SERV.

until the agency recieved the following letter from an Arkansas camper:

Dear Sirs:
While camping last week I shot one of your birds. I think it was a crow. I followed the cooking instructions on the leg tag and I want to tell you it was horrible."

the bands are now marked:

FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE

LMAO Chris.

Once I read about a Swedish chainsaw with the warning: Do not try to stop chainsaw with face or genitals.

Thought by the time people got this far down in the page they might need another laugh

Talk about eating crow...LOL! Good one Christopher!

Come to think of it...I once bought a blow dryer that had a tag on it stating

"WARNING: DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING"

Yep...crushed me, it did. I always dried my hair while I was snoozing. I had to get counseling to retrain myself to dry my hair while fully awake. Next...sewing all those tags back on the pillows. Ya know..the ones that say its against the LAW to remove them?
