In Ron's thread regarding photos, I asked if portraits, given they were true-to-life, were permissible.

I received no reply.

SO .... I have posted this to say that I uploaded a portrait which I believe flatters me (as cameras do not), and will sit back and wait to see if I get slapped on the wrist for doing so!

Sorry, Ron -- I'm just too darn impatient!

Nice to see you!  I'm just replying to say I like your sketch, very cool!

Marge uploaded a baby picture of herself and had to remove it...while I think this is a great portrait (who drew it?), I believe you should put a photo of yourself there.  If you'd like to send me one of you, I'll fade it..make it slightly blurred..sometimes that works....I tell everyone I can't put a photo of me here because you can't take a picture of an Angel! Saxoness, thank you!

Dusk Treader, thank you twice!

Poet deVine:  I have a photo program that could accomplish just that -- however, if I had to choose between my photo (no matter the touch-ups) and no photo, I'm afraid the no photo would have it!

PS:  It was a self-portrait; I'd like to thank my bedroom mirror for putting up with me!

It works for me as long as it actually does look like you, Kess. Of course, to substantiate that, you'll have to send me your bedroom mirror...

(Do you have a black & white mirror?)

Having been privledged enough to see a real-life photograph of you Kess, I must say that I am quite sure your bedroom mirror had no problem putting up with you! This is a wonderful sketch, but hardly does you justice!

Got your email, Kess, and you're right on both counts.

It does look like you, and your mirror is not in black & white...
