Have any of you joined poetry contests? well at www.poetry.com, there are contests everyday that offer one hundered dollars for a poem composed through scrambeled words provided.Just letting any of you know who might be interested.

yes, I believe that there is a chatroom at this site. Thanks for the info on poetry scams.....So then, one shouldn't enter these contests or not??????

I guess that depends on why you want to enter, Rosalind. If you read any of those articles, you realize that everyone who enters the contests at poetry.com becomes a Finalist. You could send them a page out of the dictionary (wouldn't even have to be an English one) and they'll agree to publish it. Then, of course, they'll charge you for it.
