Dovey, I don't mean to sound rude but peanut butter and pickles is the most loathesome, grotesque, insane combination of foods that I have ever heard!!!!

Everyone knows that the only real way to eat peanut butter is to spread it on Vienna Sausages!

There is no more distasteful thing than a pickle. I refuse to remove them from a sandwich or burger because even the residual funk ruins it for me. I must send them back to the kitchen so the cook can then spit on it instead.......point being.....I had pickles and PB along with my then pregnant then wife, just to show my sympathy to her disgusting craving...it was better than just a pickle.....lol

NO, and I have no plans to ever try peanut butter and pickles. Ewww. I love peanut butter, but I hate pickles and I always have! Although peanut butter and banana isn't bad...how 'bout that any of you?

And I had a crush on one of my teachers once-he was cool! Still is, though my feelings are nowhere near the same for him.

You'll please forgive LW, I am quite sure that she was a deprived child!!  LOL

Now then. . .there are only a few foods that have been granted a seal of approval to be used with Peanut Butter. . . they are:

1.  Bananas
2.  Raisins
3.  Jelly and/or Jam and/or Preserves
4.  Celery
5.  Bread (French!!!)
6.  Pizza crust (don't laugh if you haven't tried!!!)
7.  Apples
8.  Cheese crackers

If pickles had been meant to have with nature's "perfect food". . . then they wouldn't be so ICKY!!!!

Thank you!!

Hmmm...

I have one thing to say (well...actually two - but one sounds more dramatic)...

EVERYBODY RUN!!!!

Balladeer's got the Vienna sausages!!!

It's a civil emergency!!!!!!!

RUUUUUUUUUUUN I say!

Ok...I'm done running...

Meat pies, Rebecca - yes indeedy. Australia and NZ has a huge meat pie culture (blerk) I don't actually eat mince pies anymore, but as a kid they were nice with twisties - cheese flavoured corn snack things...

truly - really nice!!

Hey hey,

Severn where are you from, I nocited that you mentioned Australia and New Zealand.  Most people don't even know where they are let alone how to spell them.

And I have to agree with Sevn on the following.

1.  Bananas
2.  Raisins
3.  Jelly and/or Jam and/or Preserves
4.  Celery
5.  Bread (French!!!)
6.  Pizza crust (don't laugh if you haven't tried!!!)
7.  Apples
8.  Cheese crackers

They are all really nice with peanut butter, although pickles aren't bad.  I guess it's one of those things that you have to have a desinger taste for...rather like olives...

Angel,
you will NEVER convince me that Peaunt Butter was ever MEANT to be eaten with pickles!!!!  Or that olives are a "Designer" food!!!

Next thing, you'll be telling me that I should start eating olives with Peanut Butter!!!
