I was in the Teen forum, and noticed that Salooma had posted a thread (same title, I liked it) where the members could all get to know each other by telling a little bit about themselves. Well, I thought that was a great idea, and since I don't know a lot of people here, I decided to do the same thing. I'll go first (that would be logical as I am posting this  ).I'm Elizabeth. I started college on Thursday, August 24th. I'm enrolled at Inver Hills Community College and taking English, choir, and psychology. All my high school friends are at different places, so I'm trying to get to know a lot of other new students. I have a very good memory for birthdays and I hate spelling errors, especially obvious ones. I started writing poetry when I was sixteen, on November 13th, 1998. Being a native Minnesotan, I am a Vikings fan and I hate the Packers. I also tend to worry a lot--and it isn't fun. Chris, Chris, Chris... what can I say? ANYHOO, back to the matter at hand. Yes, Salooma's idea was great, and I'd love to get the ball rolling on this! Well, my real name is Erica, and I'm a 15 year old from West Virginia. (BTW, I met Randy Moss back when be played for Marshall University in Huntington, WV) I fiddled around with poetry as a child, and I had a poem published in a book for children's poems when I was 7. I stopped writing shortly after that, and I didn't start again until about this time last year. I am an avid reader, and I spend most of my time either writing or reading the works of others (when I'm not out, of course ). I also love reading plays. This summer, I entered my second season with our community theater. Although I'd love to go to a school of the arts, I was chosen to enter a program at West Virginia University that would pay all of my tuition. But the program is only for the health and sciences fields, so I'm going with my second choice: Veterinary Medicene. Well, I've finished running my mouth!
