If there were a movie being made about your life who would be your first choice for the starring role?

OH...I guess I was supposed to go first...I thought of this one because "serenity finally got out of the house" last night and went to an outdoor concert...I won't bore you with ALL of the boring details...but suffice to say, I ended up sitting on a blanket with four kids, a dwarf, and a roadie...and with the ponder of a moment, I thought to myself, while shaking my head..."Who wrote the script of my life?  John Irving?  and now it's being directed by Felini..."

And the star of the show?  Angelina Jolie...

Watch for the sequal.  I know I am.  LOL please...like I'm in need of laughs.

Now Christopher~
I'm gonna put that on my list of things to worry about.

If George Burns could pull off GOD
he can surely handle a mere mortal like me !

One thing certain ... we would see just how
good an actor he could be.

Serenity~
How's that for a 'laugh' fix !

I don't care for Angelina Jolie! But I'd watch both of your movies, because they are about YOU....I would like Sophia Loren to play me! I've always wanted to be beautiful and speak Italian! Or is that to speak beautiful Italian?

I was thinking of Ed Grimley - he's such a fine actor don't ya know...

I decided he might be a bit too dramatic for me, so I looked for someone who had more of that 'essence' of JP (Tom? Brad? Leonardo?  Naw...)  Then I saw "The Ninth Gate" and Johnny Depp was excellent as a bookish, yet rough character.... Perhaps Johnny with glasses...

Then again... there is always Ed Asner...

What about me playing myself... that would really cut down the production costs and even if nobody watches, it's not such a big loss...

I would have to choose Drew Barrymore for me!!!She is my favorite.

Sudhir~~~I never thought about me playing myself. That is a good idea though!

I'd dig watching your life with Ed Asner as the star JP! He's cool! (Uhmmm... as long as there aren't any nude scenes...)

I have been told I look like Tom Cruise, no I am telling the truth, but after his terrible Irish (or Orish as he would have said it) accent in Far and Away, I would have to pick an Irish actor, though we don't really have any famous ones that come to mind at the moment, oh Gaberiel Burn if they could make him look 2o yrs younger, and he has the black hair and eye brows...perfect choice. He might be a bit tall though and my life is not that interesting to turn into a movie, more tv movie of the week ( with false sex and drugs plots added in).

And what would it be called, should we not be asking that question as well?

The Sensitive Irish poet, nah.

how about "Pale winter eyes"?

For a number of reasons but too many to explain at the moment, it comes from an image I coined "Pale winter agony" but that is too depressing.

Hey,

I happen to be a great actor... and I can act as myself very well... After all I live in Shakespeare's world, don't I... ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE...

So lets start the puppet show???

somebody pull the strings...

please don't pull too hard, lest it may hurt

You bring up a good point Christopher...  Heavy editing would be required (I have a tendency to remove clothing, a lot...)
