This is kind of a tough one cuz soooo many things come to mind.

First I would want to be with my husband, cuz he is my best friend, on an island somewhere in the South Pacific.
Five things I'd need....hmmmmm
1)Definitely my cigarettes...a must.
2)Some really good books to read.
3)Toothbrush and paste...(for the morning ickies)
4) Paper and writing utensils...in case the muse shows up.
5) All my animals for love and companionship when bored with hubby LOL ( That doesn't happen often btw.)

Interesting question!

I would want to be stranded in the woods somewhere, because I'm so used to them.

I would want my companion to be Jeff Timmons from 98 degrees, because he's hot and strong enough to build a house or whatever we need. (please excuse my teeny-bopperness)

My 5 things would be

1)Food (duh)
2)Water (duh)
3)My books (yes, all of them. See, his muscles are coming in handy)
4)My notebooks and a pen
5)AIR CONDITIONING!!

I don't need a CD player, cause I'll already have someone to sing to me! Hehhee!   < !signature-->

2) all my CDs and a CD player
3) internet access (I need my Passions, lol!)
4) Toothbrush and toothpaste (yep, tis a must!)
5) A bunch of books to read

Hehehe...I'm liking this fantasy!

Well the person I would love to be stranded with would without a doubt be the beautiful and amazing Krista (Alwye).

The place, as far as I know, exists only in my head.. LOL.. But if any of you know the St. Croix river valley of Minnesota, it would be like that.. a forest mixed with maples, pines and oaks... little crystal streams and miles upon miles of empty land to explore...

Now what would I need?

  • Unlimited supply of good food and drink..
  • CDs and a CD player (I need my music!)
  • Waterproof computer
  • Bathroom necessities LOL
  • Books... lots and lots of books....

I have the feeling I'm going to be abused because I keep bumping things back up...oh well...you'll just have to deal.

Mmmm...
I'd like to be stranded in a cabin in the mountains (ones with snow of course).
I the guy would be...Michael T. Weiss (has everyone here seen the Pretender!!!  Although I do however have to agree with LoveBug...Jeff is cute!!!!)

Five things....
1.   Matches (or a lighter might be better - something to light that fire at night)
2.   Toothbrush (I definately have to agree with everyone who put that down)
3.   Paper and writing equiptment (right now I can't decide between a pen or a pencil)
4.   CD's and CD player (I assume that counts as one thing)
5.   Twister!!! (I love that game!!!)

Ok, here I have to point out the obvious...are you people all hoping that it's going to be one of the things the other person chooses or are you going to be perfect angels while you are stranded alone somewhere so romantic and perfect with the guy of your dreams - I'll leave you all to figure out what I mean!!

ok stranded somewhere...my front garden. That way I could work on a plan to get back
into my house. Call me a logical thinker. Ok somewhere not local, the garden of Eden. Well that sorts the food and water thing out and I guess God was kind enough to build Adam and Eve a house.

1. a rechargable electric generator (I don't think God installed electric in the garden unless the cables were underground).

2. MY computer with modem so I could still surf the net and post at passions.

3. Bill Gates account details and credit card, that way I could re-buy all my cds some of which are a bit battered and I could also re-buy all my books. Of course I would use the credit card to make donations to charity.

4. person would have to be Alica Witt, she of "Cybill" fame. I have a thing for red heads. NOw you know my weakness.

5. one of those transporters from star trek for day trips.

I notice a lot of people saying cigarettes, but no one seems to bringing matches or a lighter. Also
would it not be better to bring those nicorate patches to kill the craving. Yes you guessed right I don't smoke, don't you just hate people like me. I expect a lot of Dennis O' Leary style remarks for my comments. LOL

Cigarettes is a common thing...and things to type or write one's poetry....I like the transporter idea that Brian has...that would have come in handy many many times for me!!

I need to think about what I'd bring...hmm!!

Justbleu~~~Can it only be 5 things all together or 5 things that can have more then one thing on the list??Well Im not quite sure so here it is..

First I would want my boyfriend there with me. And I would like to be in the rainforest. No wait I wouldnt be able to stand all the bugs so on the beach. That way I could shower in the water and brush my teeth too!

The 5 things that I would bring along are:

1~Books~(so that I could have something to do)

2~~Bathroom accessories~(toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, and soap for those looking good days. And mainly toilet paper so that I dont need to use leaves or something. It would be just like home.)

3~~Lots and lots of food and soda~(but it has to be something that I would eat. And lots of pepsi or OJ)

4~Cell Phone~(for when I get home sick)

5~Lots of paper and pens~(so that when I finish reading all my books I can have something to do.)

ah, this sounds like fun....hmmmm
i think i would like to be stranded atop a very tall building (skyscraper) so that i can see the entire city and beyond to the horizon. (i like looking at all the busy people knowing that just beyond all the "buzz" is the serenity of nature)..not sure yet who i would choose to be with me though. i get easily annoyed..especially if i were stranded.

what i would want with me...
1. of course toilet and shower facilities and all the bits and pieces that come with it.

2. unlimited supply of music and a source to play it from.

3.of course unlimited supply of books and stationary to write upon.

4.a decorative water fountain, a large one..(yeah i know its frivilous, but just cant help myself)

5.unlimited amount of art supplies of all types..i got alot of time up there to be creative!!

forget food...im might starve physically...but spirtually, i would always be free of hunger!

It's kind of funny that folks are "stranded" yet they have internet access - why don't they email for a rescue?

I am assuming that I would be stranded by choice, on a tropical island with plentiful food and water sources (okay, doesn't need to be flowing with milk and honey...), or the next choice would be a mountain somewhere, by a stream...

1)My bow and arrows (gotta hunt that plentiful food...)

2)My survival knife

3)My wife and children

4)Paper and pens

5)Internet access (yes me too... it would involve a computer, a source of electricity - perhaps a water opertated generator or some such device I would make by hand...)

Actually, this is not a fair question, my wife and I have be planning a "Wilderness Family/Swiss Family Robinson" escape for years....

Well it would have to be a cabin in the mountains where it's always Autumn or Winter. And it would have to be with my sweetie and future hubby, Tom Cruise...shhhh don't tell Nichole, she has no clue. We wouldn't need too much I suppose. His mere face could keep me going for decades, lol.
But lets see....

1.CD player/radio...gotta have my music
2.Toothbrush of course
3.Pen & paper... to write of my Tom,s hottieness
4.Books and more books
5.All the food our little hearts could desire

Awww now I'm really happy, what a dream, what a dream...hehe

hmmmm.... Lets see here.  If I were to be "stranded" somewhere, I would have to choose a big old (and well furnished) house on the north shore of Lake Superior, with lots of windows and big fireplaces.  As for who, that would of cource be my girlfriend, who would negate the need to choose where, because anywhere would then be perfect with her. and the five things I would bring;

1. Books
2. Pens and paper
3. My violin (make my own music)
4. warm clothes
5. lots of blankets (similar to the one above, but not quite)

All that other stuff, like food, water etc. would be included in the well futnished house.

Ooooh let me see.......
It would have to be the Maldives and I would just happen to be stranded there with David Jones.
5 things to survive.......
1. Lots of veg, cos he is a vegetarian.

2. Lots of wine for me...to take away the taste of all those veg!!

3. do it yourself liposuction kit....so I could look good on the beach

4. his guittar, so he could serenade me every evening

5. lip salve!!!!! Well, all that kissing is bound to take its toll right??

I think y'all are missing the point of being stranded here...
the where could be anywhere as long as it was near a source of water be it the ocean or a lake the who would be the love of my life and my very best friend and the five things I wish we had

1) his guitar so he can serenade me under the moon
2) him
3) him
4) him
5) him

what more could I possibly need?
