It makes you wonder if the reporters have too much time on their hands! This is one of the top local news stories this week! Demand for condoms puzzles Richardson REPORTS that the Olympic athletes' village was a hotbed of rampant sex and non-stop partying were greatly exaggerated, village mayor Graham Richardson said yesterday. Mr Richardson said he was at a lose to explain the heavy demand for condoms The official supplier of condoms to the village said this week it was rushing in an emergency supply of an extra 20,000 condoms to supplement the 80,000 already distributed to the 15,000 residents of the village. I'm not quite sure why this fascinates people to the degree that it does, Mr Richardson said. 'There's not a lot of evidence of open bonkage that I can see. 'If they're doing it, they're doing it with great discretion - I'm delighted to report. Mr Richardson said reports that the village had turned into one giant party as the end of the Games drew near were far from the truth" "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

lol... Oh dear, trust Austrailians to find something like this of great importance...who cares what any one is doing in their spare time...for all they know, the condoms could be being used for something other than the norm... |

LOL That is actually funny that this would make the news. I think of news as like somewhat serious but not. News to me is just a bunch of facts that are going on in the world but who would call this news???Its to funny to be news! |

LOL I've often wondered the same thing myself. I've heard some pretty stupid things, and wonder if they had to find something to fill their time slot. LOL |
