Okay, I decided to post this in here in case it gets nasty!   Well? Here it is? Who is for Clin...err.. GORE and who is for BUSH? Add why if you must.  Please don't get in a fight though! LOL! Remember that we're all just expressing an opinion.
Starting with myself....

I found that so different that you could choose anyone you want. My friend told me about that today. But I would choose Bush. After reading all the "campaign" things in the newspaper he is my choice.

I would rather be hunting in the bush than waiting around for a warthog to gore me.      But seriously I have no idea who I would vote for but I think I may pursue a job in writing campain slogans.      What do you think?

Well... I think I have agoreaphobia.... and I know for sure that a bird in hand is better than two bushes.... so maybe I'll move to a small island full of pelicans in the Caribbean instead of voting....

I refuse to say in public (although I do have a Bush/Cheney sign on my front lawn...)

Honestly though, I have to look at the past 7 years - look at what has happened, and more importantly look at was hasn't happened and compare that to what the two say they will do.  Who says he will do something that he has thus far failed to do?  Who says he will do something that he has already done?   Those are the questions that will determine my choice...

Bush, and not simply because I'm a Republican, since I have voted for Democrats and Independents if I thought they would do a better job in whatever post they were running for. Plus, I'm a little leary of what Gore's trade-contract with China would be...I mean, under Clinton/Gore, we've already given China a LOT of military hardware and software. What's next? A fully stocked military base in the US?

I talked with a 18-year old who just got his Selective Service notice. I congratulated him on now being eligible for the Draft, although such would probably never happen. Then I had to think: with the gutting of the armed services and dismantling of a slew of equipement and bases, if something did happen, he might just be called up, since there is not enough military personnel to go around anymore. But then I had to think: but if he is called up, where would he train and what equipment would he carry? There STILL wouldn't be enough to go around, thanks to our present CIC.

We have arrived at a crossroad in our history.  This election is not about a particular candidate; rather, it is about the direction of our country.  The choice is simple....you either want to move closer to a socialist state or you do not.

For me the choice is simple when I look at the character of what we have had for the last 8 years...and after the debate last night, I am sure that GWB must be a wise man since he picked Cheney as his running mate.  What an elegant statesman he is.

Gore or Bush?  Bush or Gore?
Neither either; either or
On a scale they weigh the same
So now I ask what's in a name
The name of Gore means we'll have more
Of just the same of Clinton's game
Now Bush did more than Gore before
So it is not an even score
So I say BUSH!

I'm all for posting the big sign on the front lawn that says "No posting big signs" huh?  anyway.  I'm about with Christopher.  I'm voting for him..  I'll vote for any Christopher right now.  How come we don't have a third party person right now?

Looks like most ppl here are saying Bush, which is pretty good to hear for me. Bush is alright since you don't have much of a choice. Man, I was Ross Perot was still running! He was the only sensible one (in some cases). Butttt.....Gore or Bush, is there really a difference?

There is a huge difference -- this election is really about who you want to be placing judges on the supreme court for the next four years -- a critical issue since there will be about 4 appointments coming up.

Depending on your ideology and what kind of judges you want -- that's really the crux of this election.
