This morning as I was driving to town I saw a man cut off another man at an intersection.  The man that got cut off then chased after the other man and proceeded to scream and make gestures at him.  It was all so amazeing, he was so upset by what happend he almost hit the guy.  Needless to say no other harm was done.

However, being on the road can not only be dangerouse to drive but now you have to worry about some person out there running you down for accidently not useing a turn signal.  Now, I must admit sometimes I am at fault, and therefor I'm like most other people out there and mouth the words "sorry my fault"

Now don't get me wrong there are some people out there you just want to say "How in the world did you ever past your drivers test?"  I mean, come on the speed limit is 45 don't go 35.  Or the people that all of a sudden decide to do there hair, makeup and whatever else in the mirror at a red light..Hello..it's green now. Oh well such is life.

So, what are your pet peeves about driving?  Have you ever been the victim of road rage?

thanks for listening.

My biggest pet peeve about driving is anyone who doesn't automatically do double the posted speed limit.

Talking on the phone in the car! Unless you're are the passenger, please pull out of traffic, make you call while you sit in a parking lot and then you can return to the street! Good grief!

I'm with Sharon on this one... Even one of those headphone type phones is an improvement to seeing someone holding the phone in one hand and the steering wheel in the other... Looking into the phone, of course..

Hello again Horizon!

Now how about those people who try to write poetry while they're driving eh? (oops ... guilty)

Actually cell phones are the ones I see all the time ... that really gets to me too!

Mine are people who dont know how to drive. I am terribly afraid of getting in a car accident. And the people that drive too slow.

But what you said about the 2 men. That happened to me and my friend. Some guy cut us off and almost smashed into her car at the same time. Well there were 3 cars of my friends besides just us. One of my other friends chased the guy cause he almost got us really good. Well then my friend cut him off pissing the guy off.

Kit-lol I never written anything in traffic but I did try to read a map..ugh

Erin- I am sorry that happend to you, some people can be so careless.  Sometimes it does not matter how careful you are you still have to watch out for other drivers.

Thank you everyone.

Driving too slow is a peeve of my mine, I go faster, but not DOUBLE Chris.

Actually when you're behind someone and they are at the corner and decide to turn, and then they hit the breaks, and then they flick on that blinker. Man that really irks me!

*PEOPLE WHO DON'T USE THEIR TURN SIGNALS..

*PEOPLE WHO USE THEIR TURN SIGNALS A MERE FEW INCHES OF WHERE THERE ARE GOING TO TURN!!

*PEOPLE WHO PASS YOU (WHILE YOU'RE DOING A LITTLE ABOVE THE SPEED LIMIT) AND THEN SLOW DOWN!!

*  PEOPLE WHO ONLY PAUSE AT STOP SIGNS

*  PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW TOO CLOSELY!

*  PEOPLE WHO DON'T TURN ON THEIR HEADLIGHTS IN THE RAIN.

*  PEOPLE WHO PASS ME WHEN I'M ALREADY DOING 80MPH...ERR....Of course..I don't do that very often..PROMISE!!

More to come later, perhaps..

Sideseat drivers.
Two fisted/footed drivers (automatic trans only, one foot on gas, other hovering over the brake)
Passengers who tell you to turn as you are passing the turn.
Blue-haired biddies who can barely see over the steering wheel of their land shark who mosey on the road at 20 below the posted limit, regardless of what the limit may be, or they drive a flat and very regulated 20.
People who pass, get in your lane, then slow down to below the limit.
People with pickup trucks who don't wanna scratch the bed paint. (Why are they driving pickups?)
Getting stuck behind some jalopy that would be banned in most states, spewing black smoke for a 1/4 mile behind him, and YOU CANNOT GET BY.
Those scary drivers who leave their turn signal on....who might just turn.
Tourists. Nuff said.

If I were any more laid back, I'd be in a coma.

Along with Temptress over the blinker thing...
I really like those who let their blinker blink a half a blink! ROFL What's that?

RUDE DRIVERS!

Those who have a problem with letting others merge. I think they are control freaks!

Those who cut you off when there is no one behind you and they make no effort to speed up so you don't have to slow down.

TAIL GATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and I once saw a man brushing his teeth while bombing down I-5 at 80 plus!

I agree with all of you.  I hate people that ride so close that if you turn around you can see whats between their teeth.
People that don't use their turn signals is very annoying.
And Yes Alicat, I totally agree about the little old ladies and men, if your afraid to drive tatke the ATA bus.
I for one love to site see, however please all I ask is if you have people behind you pull over and let them go.  "Hey buddy I just drank a 32oz fizzy you mind stepping on it before their are two accidents?"

and My number one pet peeve DRUNK DRIVERS.
Please everyone out there if you drink don't drive your not the only one on the road take a taxi.

Drive safe everyone!!

And another one (thanks to this morning's commute) is people who are going 80/90mph and won't let you pass. Then all of a sudden, they slow down to about 40 because there's a cop on the side of the road, giving someone a ticket.

Now wouldn't you think that'd be the best time to speed?!!

Oh dearest Horizon, I come to you to ask forgiveness for the sins I have comitted this day. Today, I tailagated the old man that cut me off, I made a right hand turn and turned my turn-signal on half a second before turning causing those behind me to stop immediately, I ran a red light from my impatience and I drove on the sidewalk all through my neighborhood!!!

haha ok sorry, I just was thinking about it all and found some humor in it...I'll leave it up to you to decide whether or not I actually did all these things!

Well StarPryncess Remind me never to drive with ya..heheheh
And for your punishment you will eventually become the old lady that everyone hates driving behind, going 10mph in a 55pmh zone.  With a car so big it it's registered in two different states.

Naaa really...just be careful out there, and ummm Starpryncess, stay off the side walk..

ROTFLMAO StarPryncess, Okay I don't blame you I woulden't own a car that big either, however I do confess I did own a rather big car at one time in my life. I felt kind of like I could take on anything..lmao..okay not really, but I needed to think that as I pulled into the mall parking lot..lol

And don't worry about me giving you the drivers exam, I will be older than you and if we get into an accident there will wind up being  two, So you better pray my depends will hold out..

Thanks for replying StarPryncess
