OK....Thanks giving is just around the corner.....
and so I wanted to know......
What are you thankful for?

I have SO many things to be thankful....I couldn't list them all.

I'm thankful for:

My family and how close we are...and of course our health.

My son...even though he makes me want to pull my
hair out at times and run down the street screaming at the top of my lungs.....
I love him dearly.

My friends...

I have a roof over my head and food to eat...

And course Passions and all the great friends I've made here. You all know who you are.

I guess I'd better stop or this could go on and on!
So tell me......what are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for the fact that I haven't gone insane with thought just yet.

- for my family
- for my girlfriend
- for my friends
- for passions

i think that should cover it!

I'm thankful that in this short existance I call my life that I had the chance to meet and love my soul mate (you know who you are)because I realize that there are an unlucky number of people who never get that chance.

I'm thankful for all the little things I take for granted most of the year then somehow realize around the holidays.

I'm thankful that, although my father and all my grandparents are deceased, my memories of them never will be.

I'm thankful to be back in California near my children.

I'm thankful to have my health back and be working full time for the first time since 1997.

I'm thankful for knowing what it is I'm working for - for the first time in my life.

I'm thankful for all I lost along the way because it makes me appreciate what I have and all I regain that much much more.

I'm thankful mostly for the love God has allowed me to experience this year with Linda.  Without it, I probably wouldn't be thankful for much at all...

I am thankful for so much.
The fact that I wake up breathing is a plus.

I am thankful that all in my family are healthy even though we are spread out all over the country now.

I am thankful for the love afforded to me from family and friends.

I am thankful for Passions, a place of rest and solitude from the bitter winds of the world. A place to go when happy or sad, joyous or mad.

I am thankful for my husband. He is the shining star on a cloudy night. A friend who even if he doesn't understand me at times puts forth his best effort.

And I am thankful to The Lord for making me see all things pure and good and right and guiding my steps when I feel like running headlong into an abyss.

How can you save me?
When the dark comes right in and takes me,
from my front walk and into bed,
where it kisses my face and eats my head. Shivaree

I am thankful for my health and my life, since there are so many things I have done in the past to jeapordize both ...

I am thankful for my children, who were singlehandedly responsible for turning my life around.  Without them, I might not still be around to be thankful for anything.

I am thankful for the capacity to hope and to dream.

I am thankful for the intelligence and talents I was gifted with -- however great or small -- because with them, I have been able to enrich my life and the lives of others.

I am thankful for Passions, because it has afforded me the opportunity to care about people that I otherwise would never have met.

... and last, but never least: I am thankful for Michael, who has taught me that you can never love someone too much.

I'm thankful for my family.

I'm thankful for the friends I've made, both online and offline.

I'm thankful for someone very special to me.

I'm thankful for the classes I'm taking, where I'm actually learning things.

I'm thankful for all the problems I've had because I've learned so much from them.

I'm thankful that almost two years ago, I picked up a pen and paper and wrote down the lines that sprang to my head and became my first poem.

I'm thankful for Passions and the River forums, where I spend most of my online time.

I'm thankful for all of the gifts God has ever given me.

Thanks be to God, and God bless you all!

Was going to make a smart remark about Christopher's last comment, but in the spirit of the seasons and of Passions, I will angelically keep my mouth shut.

I'm thankful for the life,
that God has given me,
The creation around me with so much beauty
The freedom of living in America,
My three beautiful daughters and husband
My animals,
My house and a job
The many ways God has taught me
to be thankful,
of course last but not least the passions

It's great read what all of you are thankful for!

Dopey_Dope, Not going insane with thought is a good thing..... I've almost been there.
Lets leave it there!

Serenity, I love your answers....Yes, this is a test!   Hehe
Lucid moments.
sight, touch, sound, ...
and the chance to do better tomorrow.
These are things that many of us take for granted.
Oh, and I'm thankful I've not had to Poke any man in the eye lately!

Jamie, Excellent quote!

Jeffrey, Yes, you're lucky...so many people never get that chance!

Michael, Welcome Home! I'm thankful you're back and you & Linda are doing so well!

WildChild, Breathing is a good thing isn't it?

Linda, Children do aazing things to our lives, don't they?

LakeWalker, Dog and God are good things to have in one's life! Notice Dog and God are one in the same word when reversed.
Uh........Did any of that make sense? Hehe

Thanks for your insight!

Chris, I bet you're thankful for sleep when you get it!?!

LoveBug, The beauty that surrounds us is amazing. When one actually stops to really look at it....it takes a breath or two away!

Rosebud, FREEDOM! YES! With out freedom we'd have much less to be thankful for wouldn't we!

Thank you ALL so much for sharing....
I've enjoyed reading all of your responses!

I am thankful (and please forgive my lack of political correctness) THAT IT IS OVER.

That's right. The last dish has been washed. (I hope.) All of the usual boring "blow-out" football games have been tallied. And every tedious conversation has now been ended. AT MY INSISTENCE.

Okay. Not nice. But yanno? It's the truth.

and with a wicked grin..I state the obvious...I do, know the meaning of gratitude, (serenity, gets up, and does her happy screen dance)

NEENER-NEENER-NEENER!!!!

They have all gone. The kitchen is clean. bwahahahahaha.......
(and my time is MINE, all MINE!!!)

Much laughter and gratitude!
Happy Thanksgiving...god knows, I am grateful!!!

oh. yeah. almost forgot...

(gobble. gobble. gobble...burp!) sigh...

and *wink*
