Saying sorry. Taking your pride, shoving it aside, and saying you are sorry. It is so hard to express anger appropriatly...because anger sometimes gets in the way of realization. (And honestly..who is EVER thinking straight when they are fuming?) Realizing that your angry words may hurt another individual is hard to determine in that state of mind. Whether it is your best friend, or someone you know as well as the 16 year old who bags your groceries. (okay okay so his name is Brandon and he has a crush on the girl in the bakery department...but I'm back on a diet, I don't go quite as often anymore, don't worry) And so we say 'sorry'...I suppose it is those moments that make us realize that we are human, that we make mistakes, and that we are still learning everyday how we can become a better person...By realizing our mistakes and making amends to those we have hurt. I don't know about you, but I'm going to go call the kid I knew in the fifth grade who I called "pumpkin head" ...hope he isn't on a tower somewhere with a shotgun.... (LOL) so, um, I basically ah....posted this to (gulp) say...I'm sorry. [This message has been edited by Lady Lost (edited 12-06-2000).] |

I know what you mean and i try to do things right so i dont have to say im sorry, but when things are obviously my fault and sorries are in order, i always say it. Anyway good job........it's an honorable thing to do.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

Kudos to you Beth!!! *Hugs* swallowing your pride is often one of the most dreaded actions one has ever taken...but I can think of worse, can't you?
