It is already December 5th, I've got a busy 19 days ahead of me, but I wanted to know what you wanted for Christmas from dear old St. Nick?!?  Let your imaginations take you away, go all out, ask for something you have always dreamt about having...I will be waiting for the responses!

One on one concert with Neil...what else...I mean, if I'm going to dream...hey...but all the rest of my dreams have been realized...however, they'll all take time, and some more time...a little more time...to attain...so Santa Clause with an E...just make sure you come back next year...Oh wait...I know...one more thing? Finish my shopping for me...and make sure all my gifts have an angelic touch about them...there...that'll do it!

Since we moved to another state several months ago, my beautiful 14 year-old daughter has become increasingly depressed.
A new middle school is scary, and she misses her old life.
My greatest wish would be new friends for her and happiness...maybe words of support from a secret santa that understands how hard it is to be a teen-ager in a new school...

My Chritmas Wish

In my stocking, there can be nothing but air
Just like neath the Christmas tree o'er there
Unless I get one thing, miserable I will be
Santa, I just want my sweetheart to be happy
The shouts that engulf his house, disappear
With the thought on his mind that I am here
And make his parents see what I see
Not the thing they think he grew up to be
They so often tell him he was a mistake
You have to help him, for his own sake
Or else he may never get to know
Unconditional love families should show

Real things he didn't have the chance to feel
Pretending all the hurt wasn't real
And so all I'm asking of you this year
Is a happy Christmas for my sweet dear
Not the shouting he's accustomed to
That needs to end, let him make it through
Only I can't help him, and that's your part
Ending all of the pain bottled in his heart
Now I'm pleading Santa, please help me
Do you think he can spend this year happily?

~Susie

A cruise to the Bahamas.

A world of no problems or crises for at least 48 hours.

How can you save me?
When the dark comes right in and takes me,
from my front walk and into bed,
where it kisses my face and eats my head. Shivaree

Now I think I'm getting a clue
as to who this Santa might be
I was going to send an E-card to you
but the function is out of whack
mysteriously!

I was going to send you your own request
for you must need a thing or two
and I can't even help but think
to Passions, no Moderator welcomed You!

I was a little put out with my self
as I always enjoy dressing up as an elf
and this morning I was going to brighten your day
but the control board won't let me have my way

So Santa, Welcome to Passions, and for spreading cheer
so many have come to whisper wishes into your ear
and if you can't bring me Neil, it's quite clear
he wasn't ready to travel by your reindeer...

so you may scratch him off your list
it's OK, I'm still able to listen to his hits
and really Santa, I don't need much this year
except for the wish that Passions stays here...

it brings so much to so very many
poets find someone's muse when they haven't any
prosers weave stories that bring in the world...
Santa? Just shower me with stardust, I've been a good girl
and take care of my friends here, they're really something else
and check for some cookies, and for your reindeer, new bells

now that's really all I wanted to say...
Santa, glad you asked, now have a good day!

Sharon- You are so sweet!!! I think that I know what you want to whisper in Santa's ear

As for "Clause":

"A seperate part of an article or document, often associated with law agreements"

also

"A group of words having it's own subject and predicate but only part of a complex or compund sentence"

I also want to add to my list! I want to achieve immortality through writing. Only SANTA could do that!!!!!

My Christmas list:

I would like to be 8 years old again and have written my first poem then, instead of 40 years later......I would like to be able to play the piano with my eyes closed again, and wish on a star again, like I did then....
I would like to feed strawberries to the man I love and catch the juice from his chin with my lips....
I would like to hold the sunset and watch the thrill of it develop slowly before my eyes.

that's all......

SNOW.........LOTS OF SNOW!!!!!!  Truely I would wish for everyone to have "THEIR" perfect Christmas no matter what it may be as long as it makes them happy and spreads cheer.  And Sharon, Thank you so much for that Christmas wish and don't worry, because much of my muse comes from the poets at passions in the readings I do so I don't think I have to worry about losing my muse.  I have already been given the gift of many friendships here as well as I feel I have grown a little as a poet since joining Passions, so there is little more that I could possible want.  Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all from one very humble cowboy.

Sharon: Bless you... *S* I really couldn't ask for more than for Toe's dear heart to find peace... except to add that he enjoy good health and be surrounded by those he loves in a life filled with laughter... for such is true wealth and success. *S*

But if Santa is feeling generous... I sure would like a long visit with that Toerag... and perhaps to someday join that list of loved ones! *S*

Santa, what I really want is for a certain friend who I have named myself after to care about me, and be my friend (she has no idea that I exist, she is older, and works in a different office).

oops! forgot my signature.

....peace as a primary objective is dangerous because it implies that we would sacrifice anything for the sake of it....

Dear Santa Claus with an E...

today we had our Christmas, early, because of familial commitments.  I did not put up a tree because of certain problems within our home.  That is ok, because the season, Santa, lives in my heart.  The star burns as bright as the angel that normally graces our tree.

What I did want to thank you for, Santa, is the "early visit" you made for my grandchildren.  Their eyes and hearts, even of the youngest, a little over 13 months, were enlarged by your largesse of simple things.

Santa, my Christmas present to you is, ... one less house to visit tonight, and on the 26th....

know I shall shine...

to warm the rest of your year.

God bless you, and all of the poets that make Passions what it is.

What I would wish for should never be wished.
