Well I just have a few quesions about some things that I'm working on, I guess you could say. It's concerning wicca. I'm just beginning to read about it so I would like a few recommendations of books I should read if possible. It would be greatly appreciated. Ive got a bit of guidence from my friend who's family is wiccan, but it's limited. I also don't want to be given biased opinions, instead I'd like to form my own.

Thanks!

Wiccacraft...by by Gerina Dunwich

A book of Pagan Rituals, Samuel Weiser, editor

A Treatise on White Magic...Alice A Bailey...
(technically not wicca but it applies)

Drawing Down the Moon...by Margot Adler

Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practictioner....by Scott Cunningham

Buckland's Complete Guide to Witchcraft...Raymond Buckland

The Spiral Dance....Starhawke (one of my favorites!)

Earth Magic...Marion Weinstein

The White Goddess...Gerald Gardner

and an excellent guidegook is also

The Magician's Companion (A Practical &Encyclopedic Guide to Magical & Religious Symbolism) ...by Bill Whitcomb

there's much more and a lot of good web sites..but a word of caution? Don't advertise for teachers, and beware of money scams...and blessed be!

Also, check out Silver Ravenwolf's "To Stir a Magic Cauldron" and "To Ride a Silver Broomstick" (at least I think those are the titles......)

My dad is Wiccan, and his copy of Buckland's is heavily annotated. But I would abstain from buying any so-called "Book of Shadows" or "Book of Counted Shadows" as these are traditionally created by the practicioner of things that work for him/her.

Also, check for "The Olde Crone's Booke of Wisdom" though I know that one is hard to find.

Good hunting, and may you find what you seek.
