Singer/Song writer (as in combined, not either or).
No thought required... if I had the voice, I'd be near killing myself to "make it".

Have always wanted to get a college degree in (anything)before I'm 50. That would require going out into the world. so I've made arrangements that when I die my remains will go to a Medical School. I will not receive a degree but at least I will have gone to college.

For the longest time, I wanted to be in the Peace Corps. My high school guidance counselor told me I had to go to college and learn something useful (like agriculture of dam building) before I could do that. I thought being a good, kind willing person was being useful...I guess not.

I'd either like to be a musician or a video game programmer.. Not sure about the latter, but it would be rather fun to write the story and all of a video game, a playable story, right up my alley, and I love music and my guitar so there's my reason for the former.

Design homes with other people's money. LOL

Actually there's a lot of things I've wanted to do.

  • Feed the homeless
  • Be a doctor or nurse
  • Design (but instead of homes, now it's web pages) LOL
  • Teach

Well there's a lot I'd like to do. Like photography, design, psychology, art, theatre, etc., etc., etc. I think for the most part I'd like to be a musician. Maybe not the best ever, but to be able to write and make my own music and have it sound good would just be...beyond amazing. I'm working on it.

I am no one if not myself.

Right now I am attending university to become an elementary school teacher, so that one doesn't count, since that it what my profession will be anyways...

But if I could have any profession I would love to be a singer/songwriter (I love music and the lyrics - they move me)

But, most of all, the most noblest profession that I would love to have would be as a wife and a mother

i'd like to be a professional student... take classes at university level for the rest of my life, open a publishing company, dance in a dance company like Alvin Ailey, open my own little shop at the shore and sell poetry printed on various items, have artwork on display in galleries one of which i own, play piano or keyboard in a blues/jazz band, write music & lyrics, choreograph broadway musicals, oh and there's more, but that's enough for now....

.... funny thing is, i had the same dreams when i was younger... and then i got married and had children... something called BRAKES...... screeeeeeeech... geesh

I'd like to buy an RV, travel around the country taking photographs of people and places and writing poetry about them. Then publish these BIG coffee table books that everyone will want to buy - thus paying for my gas and film!

Melissa,

such a coincidence!! i am bonded to be a teacher in lets say five years time....perhaps we can exchange pointers?

back to the point, i always wanted to be a journalist becos of my interests in writing and in running and i figure being a journalist covers both aspects....

the surge of adrenaline running through your veins as you rush to get your news, with chaos spinning all around and whatever not....beautiful...

Dude Ranch

“No not men ranch” I would love to own and operate a ranch were people could come and relax and have fun, I love horses the out doors and people, some were the weather is pretty good all year around and it would have all of the special stuff like spas, tennis courts, pools, food, laughter, and of course friendships build out of having fun and being able to be yourself.

My degree is in Psychology and Anthropology.I been a Social Worker, Grant Analyst(FEMA), Teacher and now Business Owner. But I swear there is nothing in the world like being a mother. It's the only trully rewarding full time job for me.

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Ideally, I'd be a landscape gardener, tree surgeon and do work for environmental conservation. Oh, wait a minute! I do that already! Lucky me!

Or, maybe I'd like to do something like work for my government (my government is my friend who may or may not run in the future, which would determine whether or not I work for her in the government), or write books with her. Painting with her would be fun too. Basically, I would like to do anything that involves her. Or my other best friend. I don't know what she wants to do though so I'm not sure I'd have fun doing it. Oh well, forget wakeboarding! Here I come people! Maybe activism would be fun (but only if I couldn't work with my friends). Standing up for what I believe in, even when the whole world is against me. Wow.

I would like to dedicate this to my friends for ever and for always, you are my inspiration and my hope.

I always thought I'd join the Peace Corp too, but I'd be satisfied to work with Gorillias and sing the blues in a smokey bar on the week-ends.
