I got the idea sweetie, but nothing I've heard of rings any bells that could compare to something like what you've shared...

I'll keep my eyes and ears open for ya and I'll get back to you here if I should come across one...

One of the towns that the Amish in pennsylvania live in is named Intercourse.

That's more like an Inappropriate town name, but hey.

A nearby little hollow is called "Big Ugly Creek Road". It lives up to it's name, too!

Actually the town I live in has a very appropriate name. Tell City, Indiana .. talk about the gossip mongers in this small town. It is named perfectly

I'm laughing big time at some of the town names I've read here in thread...

And Paula, I still haven't come up with anything that could compare to these...

Oh well, I'll continue peaking at this post and if something does hit me I'll put it in bold typeface

In Georgia there is
Chickamauga,
meaning river of death for the cherokee tragedy that occurred there.

Also,
Experiment, Georgia
and Social Circle, Georgia.

Here are a few other odd ones;
Climax, Colorado
Smackover, Arkansas
Waterproof, Louisiana
Embarrass, Wisconsin,
Why, Arizona
Chicken, Alaska
Boring, Oregon

Well, if you're going to the bar and then to the hotel, I personally don't see the church as being "useful" unless you just want to make yourself feel better.

Now, about the town name thingee, the only ones around here I can think of is Lost Hills, and if you're there, then you probably are lost; and Modesto, (meaning modest in Spanish), which is significant only because the vainest person on Passions, if not the entire country, happens to live there.  Guess who?

Well, this isn't a town, but there's a road in the redneck part of North Carolina called "Up Da Creek Rd." Heh, i got a kick out of that.
