Nine Inch Nails.

While one of my favorites, I still have no idea what it means!!

Oh, and I thought I'd add Smashing Pumpkins

Just for your information: the name Hootie and the Blowfish comes from two guys the band members knew. "Hootie" was for someone with really bugged-out eyes like an owl and the "Blowfish" was someone with puffed out cheeks (think Dizzy Gillespie).

What ever happened to decent, familily oriented names...or at least band names that were not spelled phonetically.

Like, Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs, Gladys Knight and the Pips (she stole our name!!!), Mollie Hatchet, and others?

It gives me no end of amusement to look at current band names (I think rap is disqualified, since most rappers are individuals, not collective entities). I've gotta wonder how they get the spelling.....Scrabble on Acid, or spilled Alphabet Soup? Who knows?

And nobody mentioned Papa Roach?

SF!!! You know about the String Cheese Incident??? Okay, HOW cool... *grins* all of our "crossing" road signs in Boulder (and woo boy are there a bunch) had hula-hoop like rings that the Peds where groovin' through, and all the Animals were jumping through for about a month before their concert. To this day that is still the coolest form of advertising I've ever seen...

My own collection of industrial favourites.

Skinny Puppy
Velvet Acid Christ
VNV Nation (Victory, not Vengeance)
KEIN MEHRHEIT FÜR DIE MITLEID, or KMFDM (which translates to "No Compassion for the Majority")
Axonal Warfare
Cat Rapes Dog
X Marks the Pedwalk
Dismembered Quietly
Evil Mothers

and trust me, the list goes on and on.
It's just my own brand of music. They tend to have very impressive names.

SHEEP ON DRUGS! SHEEP ON DRUGS!!! I want to hear that band just because they have an AWESOME name! LOL

Earthquakes Over Daphne - Local band.. Over? LOL

Sunna - With the CD "One Minute Science"

Alice in Chains - One of the greatest bands ever! But a rather odd name... (It's a name for a speed metal band in drag, though they aren't, LOL)
