Um, just a few I can remember from the Battle of the bands in my high school days:

Kumquat,
Graveyard Rape,
Type "O" Negative

Makes you wonder where I went to school, I bet.  Oh, and Linda would like to add:

Yeasta Girls, famous for the song, You Suck! - ewwwwwweeeeeeee, and Brim Sandwich.....ARGHHH!!! - don't even go there.

Okay, and these bands all I am about to mention RULE, by the way.
My own collection of industrial favourites.

Skinny Puppy
Velvet Acid Christ
VNV Nation (Victory, not Vengeance)
KEIN MEHRHEIT FÜR DIE MITLEID, or KMFDM (which translates to "No Compassion for the Majority")
Axonal Warfare
Cat Rapes Dog
X Marks the Pedwalk
Dismembered Quietly
Evil Mothers

and trust me, the list goes on and on.
It's just my own brand of music. They tend to have very impressive names.

SHEEP ON DRUGS! SHEEP ON DRUGS!!! I want to hear that band just because they have an AWESOME name! LOL

Earthquakes Over Daphne - Local band.. Over? LOL

Sunna - With the CD "One Minute Science"

Alice in Chains - One of the greatest bands ever! But a rather odd name... (It's a name for a speed metal band in drag, though they aren't, LOL)
