Actually Ali? Frank Zappa's band was "The Mothers of Invention" but I know you know that-- just wanted to brag that I had the extreme pleasure of seeing them (and him) four times...extraordinary and how I miss him!

The hot little group around here is 69 fingers, because there are 7 members, but one was born without a pinky finger. He is also their best guitar player!

And nobody mentioned Papa Roach?

There was a band around here in the late 60s and early 70s playing the high school dance circuits that was called Orange Purple Marmalade.

How about the awesome but short lived band Blind Melon.

Amd the even shorter lived Guano Apes...

And the equally short lived Push Monkey...(With their radio single, "Lefty" ROFL...)

SF!!! You know about the String Cheese Incident??? Okay, HOW cool... *grins* all of our "crossing" road signs in Boulder (and woo boy are there a bunch) had hula-hoop like rings that the Peds where groovin' through, and all the Animals were jumping through for about a month before their concert. To this day that is still the coolest form of advertising I've ever seen...
