before i forget, oh dear lord before i forget

The LASERBIRD swoops down
zap bazoom
and it is exciting like a laser
born to wow us into the future
but ominous like a bird
coming down
from above to wow us in a rut

and everyday i have seen a laserbird
is another day i have seen it all
and nothing else is left.
to see

but LASERBIRD!!!!
(how you wow me over and over)

It isn't as if Laserbird came with the sole purpose of becoming the center of everyone's attention.  That was a regrettable side effect of Laserbird's heritage and the sad state the world found itself in when he arrived.  An alternate history of his story can follow...

in heaven,
everything is fine

Ryan!

Is THAT the noise I hear?

I didn't realize...
but then...

all I've been doing lately
is reading headlines....

and then hiding my head.

You're still here?  In KS?

email me....

please!

Time zones...and daylight savings time.  Gonna have to get used to this again, being in Texas where most of the state has to tinker with their clocks at least twice a year, not counting random unplugs, outtages, or locational moves.  Guess I got spoiled in Arizona, where you set your clock once and forget about it, unless those aforementioned incidences occur.  Yeah, in Arizona we would swap Pacific and Mountain as far as television programming was concerned, but didn't have to fool with that 'spring forward, fall back' nonsense when it came to any time device.  Come Sunday, I'll have to remember to take my beloved doubleclam windup pocket watch, pull the knob, and turn clockwise to move the small hand back an hour.

And that calls for a super special smiley...the Bouncing Green Booger!

Well this Sunday we all "fall back" an hour. In my world it doesn't really matter as I don't even wear a watch unless I need one to match ma outfit   I simply don't do mornings period until I absolutely have to, so therefore I don't care when morning starts because whenever I get up that is my morning see?  I am one that just eats when hungry, sleeps when tired, and generally tries hard to have a good time the rest of the time. Sleep?  Sometimes I sleep, but more often I don't.  I kind of figure I will have tons of time for that when I am dead, so I don't worry about that either.  I figure if I can't sleep when I try it's not time, and do something instead.

Gee, I just realized I am very blessed by time zones I ignore actually, and very thankful when I go east especially as that gives me three more hours to play.
