OK, how about a quote competition. After the post disappears, someone can fish it out and we all vote on the best one. No limit to entries. They can be from anywhere, but if someone famous said it put their name under it, make your own up if you want.

Nicole, remind me to show you The Quote Book someday...
Think of all the weird little things people who are cursed strongly enough to end up talking to me might say... now imagine I've written the best of these in a little Word Document for the past three years and published them on the internet...

Examples:

"I'm not molesting you! I'm checking for ticks."
~
"There are planets out there for us somewhere."
~
"Hanson and the Spice Girls on the same CD? This is a plea to God to smite our society."
~
"I'm going to hurt myself until you get me something to drink."
"Don't hurt yourself."
"But I'm thirsty!"
~
"We must be lost -- we've passed the point of no
return three times in the last hour."

~shaking head~ and I LIKE these people...

Back again

Here's one I came up with a while back.

"If you want to backseat drive in my life, go ahead. Just don't expect me to give you the map."

And here's one from Saturday Night Live:

"And ninety percent of users will experience an instantaneous and horrifying sleep paralysis containing a bleak vision of mortality."

-- Trilocaine commercial

I'd use that one to sabotage a commercial endorsement in the event that you are forced to give one for some dumb reason...

"If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh"
