Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb, Time, The Gunners Dream (I think that's the name, it's from The Final Cut)

NIN: Just Like You Imagined (even if you don't like industrial music, I would suggest buying the fragile for that song alone. It's flooring.) Eraser, I Do Not Want This

Smashing Pumpkins: Disarm, Galapagos, Appels & Oranjes

Nirvana: Paper Cuts, Pennyroyal Tea, All Apologies, Heart Shaped Box, Milk It

Live: Waitress, Lightning Crashes

Hole: Doll Parts, I think that I would Die

Outside by Staind (the live version, not the album version)

Barbara O Riley by the Who

Mother Mother by Tacy Bonham

Stairway to Heaven- Led Zeppelin

that's all I can think of right now

everything's fine.

From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea by The Cure
There is No If by The Cure

something i can never have by Nine Inch Nails
the great below by Nine Inch Nails
Bloody Kisses (A Death in the Family) by Type O Negative

Razorblades and Bandaides by Econoline Crush
Correspondences by The Tea Party
Even Angels Fall by The Cruxshadows
Nine While Nine by The Sisters of Mercy

Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles

These are just all the ones that really hit me, be they mournful, down, or just depressing.

Um, Mikhail, honey... Nothing by Depeche Mode is really sad. And In Your Room is just a kinky, kinky, kinky FemDom song. Watch th' vid fr hints. Martin Gore is a suuub! (In a sing-songy voice, of course.)

And you reminded me that I forgot All I Want is You, by U2! That song just tears a chunk outta me and leaves it oozing owiness.

God, I need a life!

He Hit Me (It Felt Like a Kiss) - The Crystals
There is a Light that Never Goes Out - The Smiths
Never Had No One Ever - The Smiths
Just Like Heaven - The Cure
Hollow Hills - Bauhaus
Fade and Remain - Faith and the Muse (beautifully sad, sadly beautiful)
................lots more, but I'm stopping now.

Oh wait: When Doves Cry, Prince (kinda sad)
Purple Rain, Prince (sad)
Strange Relationship, Prince (chilling)

And many more. Look, just come over to my house, and we can all listen.

She said burn ... together.

Ah, hell, I needed more songs anyway.

The Speed of Pain by Marilyn Manson (for obvious and personal reasons)
Siamese Twins by The Cure. Actually maybe the entire scarily broken mass that is Pornography, but especially Siamese Twins.
In the End by Linkin Park for nothing but personal reasons, since I don't even like the band. Or the song. Long story. But it kills me to hear.
I Give My Heart by John Berry. Yes, that's country. Again with the personal reasons.
I Gave you my Music from Phantom of the Opera (forget the lyricists, sorry!)
Wandering Child from Phantom
Phantom's Lair from Phantom
On my Own from Les Miserables. Whaa! Poor Eponine...
Finale version of Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Mis.
Prayers for Rain by The Cure. Expelling the sickness... *shiver*
Stolen Sidewalks by Bif Naked.
Tell on You (Letter to my Rapist) by Bif.

Um... I ran out again.

First, I'll say that I greatly admire an attention span or memory that can compile 20 choices.
Then I'll say, 'Without you'.

One blaze of glory - glory
find
glory
in a song that rings true
truth like a blazing fire
an eternal flame

Oh, that song is so.... Can't believe I forgot it! I had a friend who performed that in school, and I directed her entire performance and choreographed this silent scene between her and her boyfriend (who was difficult, since he can't act) to accompany it.

And maybe someone should start up a Hopeful Songs or something list... 'Cause your signature has now left One Song Glory permanently stuck in my head...
