If the boredom's not bad enough being stuck at home, my computer has decided to go on strike.

It seems icq has corrupted it! and it's slowly dying.

Now I'm going to go out of my head without PIP to go to for comfort! I'll see you guys as soon as I've harassed my 'puter guy enough that he fixes it just to get rid of me.

As soon as I start the computer (not icq) it says icq has performed an illegle opperation and will be shut down. And I haven't even touched icq!
Slowly every thing else is falling apart. I can't open a lot of my folders. I'm down to word, email and internet. It's a real **** so I'll just take it to the tech tomorrow and see what he can do. Thanks heaps anyway.
btw, I tried to uninstall icq and it says there is a log file missing. So that didn't work either.

Could you have a virus? I hope you have some sort of virus software to protect your computer.

I know when I was having problems with my computer, it turned out it was my virus scanner McAfee. I unistalled it.

There are free ones out there you can use as well. http://antivirus.cai.com
