I know now why they call you mister Deer,
you use such gentle words , that are so clear.
The words you use all bubble to the top,
glisten like an early morning dew drop.

You’ve chose them from the life you’ve spent .
They’re garnished with a flavor that’s well meant.
Not polished words as their not meant to be.
Just plain words that are used by folks like me.

The words you use have never hurt my ear.
Just  ordinary ones that are sincere.
And all the rest of your life I am sure,
When you speak, your words are soft and pure.

I’ll admit I have learned a lot from you.
It's not  goodbye old friend, just fond adieu.

The feeling is mutual, chopsticks, and there are no goodbyes between friends...just "I'll see you"'s.
