thank you, longte.  It's just my strange sense to make joke-poems which define various words.

I call them "versawords".  There's another one further down

"antidisestablishmentarianism"

it's more straightforward, believe it or not!

I do humor more than anything else.  And much of that humor is just way-wide from general sensibilities about humor.

thank you,
reid

bluntly, i think this is better than the other stuff i've seen of yours on here so far

it is comedic, but also contains a certain strength to me--in the lines:

"acts in best minimum
to set the end stage"

but on the whole it might be too "compacted" to evoke any sort of anything from me

i liked it best on the first read, but it dies where depth is required to sustain interest as in those timeless poems we so often refer to (unfortunately?) as classics

but that's just bluntly

so what's it going to be then, eh?

sure, Ben, but do keep in mind that it is a "versaword" as i call my little word-defining or word-play jobs.

"Antidisestablishmentarianism" is another

If you would be so kind as to give me a word, any word, i'll try to make an impromptu humor poem from it. Sometimes it takes but a few minutes.  Other times weeks pass before I get an "angle" to work from.

It's a hobby and sport, these fluffs. I seem to have originated the idea such as it is.

I'll put up another.. you'll see the details change with my mood and sensing of the subject word

Oh,  and the "egrigious" poemlet here is yet another, offering in its examplea contextual definition of that blunt word.

thanks so much for the crit.  All are wanted.
