The air was frigid,
landscape sculpted in white,
as we headed out,
bundled up,
on treacherous roads,
flakes still cascading...

As if on an adventure,
just the two of us;
forced to take refuge
in a restaraunt,
we ate, talked,
warm, comfortable,
easy, loving...

Then headed back,
expedition over,
our path almost cleared,
the snow having ceased,
a crescent moon floating
in the deep, dark ocean
of the night sky...

Reaching home,
we closed the door
to biting cold,
emraced the warmth,
exhilaration of our trek,
which lingered on,
deep into the night.

I liked this - I would prefer to see S3 cut witch was rather ordinary and replaced with some conversation for example - just a thought....anyway well done.

Thanks for reading and commenting...I think you may be right about S3. I'll give it a shot. Thanks again,

Kris
