when she came home from work
with an egg on her knees
she looked at the angel sitting in her chair and said:
"i'm not gonna paint you, honey, i'm not gonna paint you!"

and they sang jingle bells for christmas
and had champagn for new year's
and when a football game was on
she left the house with her girls

the first time she realized
that something was wrong
she pretended to be rocked to sleep
she then dreamt of a once-written song
that once had her eyes shinig bright

and they sang silent night for christmas
and had cheap wine for new year's
and when a football game was on
she went to bed hiding her tears

when she came home from work
with a carrot in her hair
she looked at the zombie lying in her bed and said:
"i don't wanna paint you, baby, i don't wanna paint you!"

This poem really caught my eye. I like your style very much as well as your "descrip"

From the heart, sad, I only hope it's not too personal.

Wonderful write!

very creative, I like it. Having said that the fact that there are numerous mis-spellings/typos in this and you never bothered to correct them makes me think you really aren't very serious about presenting this poem in its best light.
