Pretty Pigs

Pretty pigs fly,
In duck formation.
A glistening arrow,
Aimed at good fortune.

The leader,
The one that’s sharp,
I should say.
Tell me of wonders,
As it flies away.

Chasing the sun,
Is a reason to live
If you catch the sun,
It’s time to die.
They’ve never made it.
In a million years.
Boiling the bacon.
Cry steam as their tears.

The wild dogs howl.
This arrow their poison.
Waiting for pig wings,
Barbecued like sirloin.

Thinner than rakes,
They patiently wait.
For a fantastic dogs dinner,
To be served on a plate.

Scavengers rummage,
Through high class garbage.
A morsel once found,
Can never be bettered.

Hyenas laugh,
As the spell is cast.
Pausing the world,
Put our hearts in a trance.
Back home on the ground,
The sun shines proud.
Out running the pigs,
Sinking,
Arrogantly down.

Paints the world orange,
With a sow on its tail.
A mission impossible,
Can do nothing but fail.
