   A HERO

What makes a hero
Do we even know
Is a hero a hero
from head to toe

There is a hero
That I 'v come to know
My mom is my hero
And it doesn't even show

My mom is my hero
And she is wise and beyond her years
My mom is my hero
and for her I'll shed my tears

What makes a hero
through the years I 'v not known
Now I ‘v learned what makes a hero
It is through my mom that I ‘v been shown.

Hello Leisha,

Welcome to CA (Critical Analysis). We always enjoy hearing a new voice. I'm afraid you have not picked a very good forum for a book submittal. CA moves pretty slowly and you are not likely to get enough attention in here to get the votes necessary.

The reason for it being a slow-moving forum is the its primary intent. Poems are posted here in order to get a more indepth analysis and suggestions on how they might be improved. This requires participants to devote a fair amount of time if their critiques are to have any validity. By posting so many poems in a short time, you tend to discourage analysis due to the time required. You will find that you get much better response in CA if you post only one poem at a time and let the discussion on that one play out before submitting another.

Of course this these are just suggestions based on my experience in the forum.

Again, welcome.

Pete

(smiles) Ever so much I think we've misinterpreted the meaning of the word "hero", but your heart shines with such an understanding of it as true heroes are those special people who all throughout our lives touch us and love us unconditionally through happiness, sadness, tears and laughter! (sigh) This is gorgeous, sweet friend, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
