Thoughts seem true gifts at first, but then, are found but fraught with warlike men who will storm the town, start the fire, and give no ruth to the mother feeling the ordnance on her back as forces thrust and forces sack. Few dare at all to be bothered to see how nature is smothered, in smoke and grease of the excess More is the plan, who will choose less? Haste the command, who will have mind to mend Nature; be left behind? Civilization let and lost who will restore morals and trust? For more of thought and expertise we were divine, now beasts of these. No longer will I think, I'll guess- at least I'll make a safer mess. |
