Autumn,
Where is she?
Standing alone in the dark at the back of her room
In her own gloom
Autumn,
When did she?
Been there today in the park with a pact for the tomb
She's fallen so soon

Mackey,
Come quickly
Sipping on tea at his desk at that time of the day
Oh please go away
Mackey,
Come in, please
Sirens are on and the rest are all well on thier way
No time to delay

Phillip
Is watching,
Silently swings, from his seat at the edge of the park
Its getting near dark
Phillip
She's dieing
Holding his hands for the beat in her chest from her heart
He's falling apart

Mackey
How is she
Feeling for strength as the tears in his eyes start to sting
He's wearing her ring
Mackey
I'm sorry
Phillip speaks up and comes near, its a terrible thing
I tried everything

Autumn,
I thought you'd
Be here all day in the park with a bag for the birds
Nothing absurd
Autumn
How could you
Leave me alone, in the dark in this world, not a word
Never occurred

Phillip
Is leaving,
Been a long night, must get back to his flat on the lake
Tomorrow he'll wake
Phillip
Starts crying,
Nothing to do don't look back on this night in mistake
Her life to take

Mackey
Sits calmy,
Says to himself; she was here, now she's gone just the same
It all remains
Autumn
I miss you
Talking to stills at the rear of the room holding a frame
You will remain.....

This is a sad tale.  I was confused at first by the name Autumn, I thought it had something to do with the seasons.  A suicide.  That is sad.  Joyce

I simply love your poetry! Amazing piece here. Hope to see more.....don't dissapear on me!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

great read Bob..a raw slice of life. hits like a hammer.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Bob:  This is very sad.  I'm sorry to hear of it.  You have written of it in an impressive manner.
