I just had to share this at the
mention of Sir William Wallace.

Above the booming voice
of tyranny
and oppression
A man cried freedom

And I heard him

Inspired by Sir William Wallace,
Scttish Knight and Savage

Aye, Scots are a very tribal lot indeed. I didn't realize how much so until I saw the movie Braveheart.
Then I said to myself, "Those are your ancestors, lad. No wonder ye like Indians so much."

YES! and isn't the freedom of the spirit the most wondrous of all?

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Isn't it wonderful how such a cry can echo through generations, and inspire over centuries? Well done.

Don't feel bad miss Rose, if I've Scottish blood it's but a drop I'm sure. I'm told I've got a bit of everythin'. Not to worry though, for we with new world blood may still have ancient souls......and heros.
Thank you all for your kind replies and know
that i am very happy to have a place at the pub.
