Fine tremors
of renewed energy
flow up the roots of my soul.

Once again,
I struggle to grow
in the night soil of life.

Is it too soon
to anticipate what color
my blossoms will be?

In wonderment,
I seek the face of the sun.

It's never too soon to dream.
I like your message of hope.
Thanks.

Strange how we compare ourselves to plants seeking the lifegiving force of the sun, while we are looking for the fae of God.  Joyce

I have to agree with all of the above. It is always exciting to anticipate what we might grow into, even when we are no longer young.

To love another person is to see the face of God.

ellie, what a wonderful compliment, you overwelm me with your kind words!

kcs, joyce, coyote, thanks for the lovely replies.  I feel  myself stepping away from the darkness of my thoughts and  find it amazing that the sunlight is so bright.

Yes, it is bright, but once your eyes adjust, oh how beautiful are the blossoms
