Beyond the cloudy days and cold,
Behind each dreary view,
My shining dreams were waiting
And yearning to come true.
I often thought there was no way
I'd see them come to flower.
I should have had more faith I know,
It takes more than a shower
To quench a flame that's fed by hope
And breathed on with desire.
Each opens like a lovely rose,
Created by love's fire!

What a warm and hopeful way to go off to bed! Hope your dreams come true.

The fire of love burns eternal,
from the shelter of the heart.
Very fine piece.
Thanks.

This is some poem! Yeah, I was a bit that way with my dreams.. I never really believed they'd ever come true, so I didn't like to dream so much.. but hey, half of them have come true now, and I am only 16!   Now, I think, the moment a person stops dreaming, loses hope, faith.. that person's soul has died, and they are in dire need of a friend's help.. I'm so glad the poem ended the way it did

Dear Lynne:  Thanks for your comments.  Dreams are important in our lives I think. You have time on your side!
