from the hillside
at Brisaggo
the world is other
far above
a world at war

far across Maggiore
the villages sleep
silent
under soft mists

from here
the world is in peace
all nature
in harmony
with Man

no high rises
only a honeycomb
of homes
nests perched high
on a heavenly hillside

I really like this scene, brother.
Very poetic, thanks.

This is a beautiful, peaceful poem, makes me want to visit the Brisaggo. Nicely done.

To love another person is to see the face of God.
