We have lost something
Not just now
But over time
Slowly faded into twilight
Dimmed by indifference
Stolen by greed
Killed by hate
Its life that’s been misplaced
We live for ten years down the road
But why?
We might not be alive ten years down the road
Tomorrow is the same as today
Except a little bit of youth is gone
We push for the future
Hoping that it will be better
Without really living now
We keep pushing and pushing
Until it is to late
To really do the living we wanted
We are a society ending up
Dying without living

every day is a new day with which we can change the world
