A slow illumination
From a corner of my room
Thoughts and contemplation
On the origins end soon

Slowly, as if unfolded
A figure appears quite swift
Her message of the undead
Crosses the awesome, darkened rift

"Fear not," says she abruptly
"You should not take on such fear
Listen to my words closely
'Tis a message you need to hear"

"Your purpose, my dear, is plain
One which, you too, shall see
To all those around explain
The words which flow from me"

"The focus of this message
Is the tragic disarray
Of souls trapped here in passage
Punished for crimes, they pay"

"Their lives were void of meaning
For themselves, only, they cared
Thought they, not once, of giving
Never their trophies shared"

"Good girl, please listen closely
Spend your time ever so wise
Spread out this message, kindly,
Let them see through your eyes"

Without even a warning
The figure faded fast
And quickly came the morning
My thoughts upon the past

I proceed now with wisdom
On what life's purpose can be
She's set me apart from my kingdom
And I promise to help them see

I love this poem! I think you have a very wise guardian Angel, sent from God to give you Hope! and wisdom!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Excellent! Great reminder to everyone. You did a great job helping others to see, and bringing rememberance. Very well done!

I like this one

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Thank you ALL! My goodness...I wish I didn't let my work keep me away so much from this place. Such wonderful poetry and reading here! Thank you all for your comments...
