I haven't posted at Passions for a while so this is going to be my lil comeback...
-----------------------
Why did you leave me?
Why did you go?
Why did you have to leave,
to go beyond?

I needed you to light my life,
I needed you to ease my pain,
I needed you to be my shelter,
when cold and in the rain.

I loved you more than I could tell,
yet mere words cannot express.
What I felt when I looked at you,
full of tenderness.

I loved more than time could see,
yet it was seconds that he took from me,
to cause this pain, my heart's agony,
and grief; I cannot without be.

Why did He have to take you?
Why so young, so soon?
Why did He have to make,
my aged heart blue?

I shiver in this cold,
in this loneliness,
without you...

**No weapon will pierce my heart, no hand will be raised to harm me as long as I write.**

This is sad, and I am sorry if you have lost someone dear to your heart. It's very difficult to lose someone you love.
God understands pain and gathers each tear in a bottle.

Those are tough questions you are asking. Sometimes it's very hard to see the reason for things, especially when they are painful for us. Writing helps, and time helps, too. Hope you feel better soon. Hugs

This certainly reveals your hurt and pain. Good that you can find a release through poetry. Time will help heal your loneliness
and grief. May God bless....

I hope your heart starts to heal. What sad and lonely words you've painted.

I know this pain you write so eloquently of...it is a part of being alive and it will serve you as that which will give you more compassion and understanding and will pass in time. (((((hugs)))))

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

It is so sad when we lose a dear one.But as the saying goes..'life goes on'. At least we have the memories to get us through. This is a special poem.

Everyone, thank you for your replies. I wrote this when I was on a depressed mood, but now I'm feeling a little better thanks.
