Doug’s Keep Early morning breeze steals up my kilt to awaken parts not welcoming it’s icy touch. Bright, clear sunshine continues it’s battle, changing winter gray to spring green. Hot, welcome coffee steaming with it’s greeting black, arid, thick and delicious. Tis a morning, glorious thanking God for breath living precious this morn. The cock crows with his genetic delight strutting about so important. Canine crew rush about anointing with abandon the edge of their territory. Deep satisfying breath a cheery “Good Day” exploding with the greeting. Mama awakens, grumbling as blankets pulled away exposing my private playground. Ah, I am the morning king my realm secure, comfortable even as the queen slaps me. the artist foremeerly known as bleeding |
