Things to Remember
Memories in Haiku

wintered air breathed in
nervous glances pass between
just before lips meet

iridescence drawn
by winter raindrops flowing
or perhaps by tears

such a cold damp day
and then a warm winter night
lives of irony

open road ahead
under threatening winter sky
we must say good-bye

I liked this Jamie..very nice flow..tough to say goodby though.

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost

Lovely haiku, but I have to agree about not liking goodbyes.

These are lovely. I'm going to put them in my library and if you would allow, I'd like to put them in the newsletter - or if you have a few other favorites, please let me know. Thank you!

Love these, but esspecially like the last one, Nice work.

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

beautiful Jamie.. haiku is so perfect for this poem! mm, this is simply beautiful, and gave me just the feeling I have, when I have to say good bye to someone I love/care about.. well done
