Black raven's feather falling down ( falling down )
Landing on the floor without a sound ( not a sound )
High up in the rafters
See a blue eyed Angel there
Her body scarred her spirit worn with care ( cold and bare )

In walks a Man with Winter's aire ( winter's aire )
Flashing emerald eyes, and silver hair ( see silver there )
He comes upon the feather
His mind at once intriged
For an Angel is a wonder that he has never seen

((chorus))

Oh dark and light
The Winternight
The Raven and the Storm
Two broken hearts in pieces
Yet a new one now is formed
Oh dark and light
The firelight
The Angel and the Man
Let no one tear asunder now
What God has surely planned

A bit of food and music do they share ( sweetly share )
Slowly now each broken heart is bared ( deeply shared )
At once the two are joined
In some unspoken bond
The raven feathered Angel
And the Swordsman vagabond

((chorus))

The fateful night the Dragon was no more ( nevermore )
Though far apart the Raven and the Storm
Their Heart was whole
And bonded so
The Angel bid goodbye
The Man was left to wander neath the sky ( hear them cry )

(( chorus..instru with choir like accompaniment))

Now time has passed for Angel and for Man ( yet again )
The single Heart is beating still my friends ( see them my friend )
Look for them now on Winternight
The Raven wings the Storm
The Angel and the Swordsman
Shall be one Heart evermore.

((chorus))
this...is based upon a very old RP ...one of my favorite's..now if I could only sing...*L* Sol

Positively delightful! I could just hear the sounds, like an Old English ballad.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Sol, I just knew this was an RP one, as soon as I started reading it. It's a very nice one, too. :-) Glad you dig these up from time to time.

Hmm....Sounds like something from the Inn.. :- Is that where you based this on? Just curious. Me.

Your time is here. Take one last look at it, then never come back. This part of your life is already over...
