I met you once a upon a time,
Now I'm meeting you again,
In some ways still a stranger
somehow closer than a friend.

And I know that I'm not dreaming,
because you're smiling in my arms
And I am lost forevermore,
in the magic of your charms.

Don't tell me why you came,
It doesn't matter why or how,
because you're here , you're mine to love,
and I need to love you now.

Don't tell me that its over,
this day alone with you,
just say that you'll come back to me,
like true friends always do.

wow, this is truely a wonderful piece. I think it captures the emotions extrodinarily well. Thanks for sharing.

If you respond to this here, I'll most likely not see it. I had the chance, so I couldn't resist stopping in and reading a poem or two. :- I really like the last two lines in this. They made me smile. Hope to have the chance to read more of your work in the near future. Take care of yourself. Me.

You know, you are a truly amazing poet.. I have enjoyed every one of your poems I have read, and they keep getting better..

thank you..everyone...this..as well as most of the latest poems i've posted..are actually songs..not that i'll ever record them...but should the " recording contract fae " ever stop at my door..*L* i'll be ready for her *giggles*

I hope to keep posting more..been kinda in repsoe of late...but i will see what i can find *G*
