I wrote this for a special friend of mine. Hope you all enjoy.

Happiness surrounds me when we’re together,
A friendship like ours I’ve never known,
Packaged within two hearts love blooms,
Painting a beautiful picture of two friends,
Yapping the night away.

Vainly I had wandered,
Around this earth so large,
Looking for a friend,
Emptiness no longer fills my heart,
New challenges daily you do impart,
Time now has meaning,
Insecurities almost gone,
Never to come back again,
Every time we part
Secure in knowing our friendships strong.

Daily I know you more,
A true gift you’ve given me,
You.
