have you read something that makes you ache to write even when you have nothing much to ramble..
U_gene's Two As One was one example and its power still holds for this reader today

On a quest for joy
We stumble upon grief lots
It stabs the earnest
Til he realises joy and grief
Are one: it doesnt matter

Kaile,
  Joy and grief are one
  Different sides of same coin
  Bound diversity

What is joy without grief or grief without joy? They compliment each other!

Playful shadows dance

Very nice, Kaile.   You can't know joy if you never experienced grief.

Only through life's grief
can we know the purity
of gift that is joy

Kaile; you sparked us all with your beautiful and wise tanka. Ellie

Joy and grief are one
Yet they feel so different!
My soul needs to grow.

Kaile this is great. Makes me realise once more I have a lot to learn about Tanka.   You make it look so easy.

Yeah, I think I know. Though they are different, when one has joy, another would have grief. It's like you can't win, without someone having lost.   Profound thoughts.
