MONEY
How much money did I need?, let me count the ways.

Money bought me a grandfather clock,
with a tick, a tock, and a chime,
But I was always on the run,
I’ll soon run out of time.
Money bought me the finest medicine
Cause I had a little wealth,
But it did me no good
I still lost my health.
Money bought me a library of books,
with plenty of knowledge,
But I didn’t make enough time
And I never went to college?
Money bought me a real fine home,
complete with a cat and mouse,
But I thought I needed to roam,
And all I had was a lonely house.
Money can buy almost anything,
Right up to the End,
But it has never bought me
the warmth of a friend.
Money can’t buy anything
but pain and suffering anyway.
So to save YOU from this pain,
Send all that you have, my way.

I started with nothing and still have almost all of it.

Cute!  'Tis true, money can only buy you temporary happiness.  Still, I don't have any to send your way!  God, or the gods above, let me be poor to master this thing called poverty!  Thanks for the enjoyable read!

LOL  I would hate to curse you with more funds!  Fortunately, I don't have enough to make it a problem. This is very cute!

Melton; A very cleverly written but sad commentary...and frightfully true. It is the root of all evil. Fortunately I have no fortune, therefore I feel very fortunate...

Belief is a truth held in the mind; faith is a fire in the heart.

Jamie, Marilyn, Suzanne, ellie, Wordancer,
Thanks for reading. Making money isn't my objective anymore. I don't want to be filthy rich, but a little dirt never hurt any one.
