Oh to sled those downy hills,
In this winter's snowy chill
To feel so free and so full of fun,
Cold snow neath winter's sun!

Yippee, the Snow has covered it all,
Now we can go out and have us a ball
In warm bulky jackets and insulated pants
That make us look like snowmen,a learning to dance.
We're children once more
as in the snow we soar
so filled with winter glee
lets cherish this winters snowy day
as we learn again, how to play.
Let us gather all the winter gear,
The Skates, the sled- the Hills so near
I can almost hear the kids ascreamin',
Or is that me just a dreamin'
Of all the fun for us awaiting-
And don't forget the Pond for skating!

Ah this is the glory season
For outdoor fun, Ice is the reason
On the pond it's frozen thick,
Watch your stride, 'cause it is slick!

Bobsleds zooming down the hill
Miles per hour- feel the chill
Only to ascend again
Going down again with many a friend.

Playing 'til were all exhausted,
By the cold, our noses frosted
A nice warm house now is appealing,
So we can get back our feeling!

Back home to warm by the fire alight
friendships true, our delight.
Memories of fun, this snowy day,
we'll hold dear in every way.
