I know I have not been around at all lately and I wanted to let you all know what has been happening in my life. 2 1/2 weeks ago my sister-in-law passed away. She was 30 years of age and left behind a loving husband and two beautiful babies (Kayla 5, Stephen 3). I have been doing as much as I can for my bother and his children though this has been a sorrowful Christams season for us.
I wanted to stop in here for a moment to share a couple of pieces of poetry I received in cards. They have touched me greatly and I hope they can comfort you as well if comfort is needed.

Author unknown.

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow.A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass, and spin the Earth in dizzy sircles.
Sometimes tyou can see them dancing in a cloud during the daytime when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide.
They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind songs, they whisper to us, "Don't miss me too much. The view is nice, and I'm doing just fine."

Auther Unknown

When roses fade
their fragrance still
remains to bring us pleasure...
When music ends,
it's sweet refrain
plays to our hearts' own measure...
And when life passes,
love lives on,
our hearts' eternal treasure.

Peace be with you during this holiday season. May light brighten your path and song fill your heart.

I ask for your prayers for my brother Jeff and his children. They have a hard road ahead and need every single one.

Marilyn.
