When All The Yesterdays Are Gone
~*Marge Tindal*~

When all the yesterdays are gone
and tomorrow's promise looms brightly on the horizon
I'll search for you in clouds anew
finding the sunshine of you in my vision.

I'll play with you in sunbeams
dancing across the lawn.
Laugh at the memories we're making
to last through until dawn.

On each new tomorrow,
we will find a way,
to carry forward the memories
etched in yesterday.

This shows that we all have hope for another day...I like the way you portray it in this poem.

Marge,
What would we do without memories? I wouldn't feel like me at all.
"Etched in yesterday"
Love that line!

Great poem and beautifully penned.

Great, Marge!
I find that the older I get, the more I remember the "yesterdays".  They are easier to deal with than the unknown tomorrow.

RaleighBttrfly~
Glad to share with you.

Joy~
Would be a lonely world indeed,
if we did not have our memories
to wrap our hearts against the cold.
Lord, give me still my memories
long after I am old.

DD~
Thank you so much.

MotherEarth~
Ahh, the yesterdays are what
write us into our tomorrows.
*Hugs*

Denise~
Good to see you !
Thank you so very much.

Geesh, I have to chase you around just to say "hey! I like this" but if I asked you to stay in one place...then all of this SUNSHINE wouldn't be brightening the place up as you do so well...

good one Marge!

Thanks, Marge! Nice to see you again too! I've been sick this past week and just now starting to feel better. Boy, that was the longest week of my life without all my wonderful poet friends!
