Snowflake from Heaven
Expecting warm reception
Gets the cold shoulder

Crystal Excellence
Perfect in every detail
Not welcome in house

How rightly you point out that excellence is not always properly appreciated!  And you did it with a smile.  Perfect, as always.

Dennis,

I happen to like snow so a cold shoulder is not a bad thing for me.  Well written.  I like the way you pack the words with meaning...as should be for a haiku.

p.s. Check back to mine...I explained the tent in Nevember thing.

Wonderful Haiku! A great read!

Usually when one used the phrase "that was some snow job" it is not said in a kind way-
bur here is an exception- in response to your exceptional Snow haikus--Brother-"That was SOME SNOW JOB" (and I mean that in the Kindest way,  Love, David

To put together words & rhyme--and touch a life--is so sublime! Thank God for such precious contact! (D.L.White)
